Wow, somehow March is already halfway over. Wasn’t it just February like five minutes ago? Do you think time starts to go faster the closer we get to the end of the world?
As if a global pandemic wasn’t enough, it seems we inch closer and closer to World War III and a potential nuclear armageddon every day. Russia’s war in Ukraine, helmed by an apparently psychopathic Vladimir Putin, rages on as the atrocities mount and the Western world finds itself in a horrible bind.
All we can really do is pray for the best, offer what help we can, and when the darkness becomes too overwhelming, find some distractions. Like Elden Ring and Wordle.

Today’s Wordle #269 Answer
Spoiler warning! Spoiler warning! Spoiler warning! Spoiler warning!
MORE FOR YOU
Spoiler warning!
Okay, now the hint: They’re all gonna laugh at you!
And the answer is . . . .
Tease!
I don’t know what to tell you about my process on this one as I got it in just two, miraculously. For a moment, I considered using the word sever as my starting guess. This is a great word and would make for a great Wordle word of the day, but it’s not a super awesome starting word. In fact, it’s probably a super terrible starting word.
So I went with a clean slate instead, something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately, and nabbed four whole letters in one guess. Actually, in a way I got all five since the final answer has two E’s (and three vowels!). With ‘A’ and ‘E’ in the right spots, I just had to figure out what word might end with ‘ASE’ (which seemed likely) and had a ‘T’ in one of the first two spots. I figured probably the ‘T’ would be the opening letter and went through some options until I teased out my next guess for the win.
Oh Wordle, you’re such a tease! Also, I think this is my first word I got in two, so that’s neat.
Happy Tuesday, dearest Wordlers! St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner. Maybe I’ll guess green this Thursday . . . . It seems I have the luck of the Irish!
