Jeffrey Toobin says Joe Biden tarnished his legacy by pardoning his son, and Donald Trump cemented one of many knocks towards him together with his personal slew of presidential pardons.
The lawyer, creator and authorized analyst joined us on “TMZ Live” Wednesday and he informed us how presidents reveal their true colours when it is time to hand out pardons.
Jeffrey wrote a brand new ebook on the topic, “The Pardon: The Politics of Presidential Mercy,” and says pardons are one of many few powers a president has which might be free from checks and balances — and that is why they inform a lot in regards to the males giving them out.
