Get A Bird’s-Eye View From This $11.3-Million Golf Villa In Benahavis, Spain

Don’t worry about errant golf balls.

Set high above the course, this contemporary villa near the mountain village of Benahavis, Spain, offers a bird’s-eye view of players taking approach shots to the green below.

The newly built home overlooks the Marbella Club Golf Resort in Malaga Province’s Costa del Sol and takes in distant views of Gibraltar as well. The beach is six kilometers, or less than four miles, away.

But there’s no need to leave the property itself for a little recreation. An outdoor swimming pool, with a wooden deck along one side and lawn on the other, is anchored by an open-sided poolhouse with a fireplace and a shaded living room. A tennis court and a small football court are also on the grounds.

Above, walls of glass bring light into the open-concept living/dining room.

A partial wall containing a two-sided, long horizontal fireplace creates separation from the kitchen, which features sleek wooden cabinetry, a center island and a pantry. A wine refrigerator and a breakfast area sit near walls of glass that open to a balcony with another lounging and dining area. A built-in barbecue shares the space.

A home automation system, an alarm system, security cameras, a central vacuum, surround sound, mosquito netting and central heating are among other features of the residence.

Six bedrooms and nine bathrooms are contained within the 1,543 meters, or about 16,600 square feet, of living space.
