Gareth Southgate has hailed England’s victory over Netherlands to succeed in the Euro 2024 remaining as his “best achievement” however Roy Keane desires to see him “finish the job”.

“An important factor is that the entire squad are prepared to come back into the sport. We spend quite a lot of time with these guys [the substitutes], and I am so happy for Ollie.
“We felt, vitality smart, we had been beginning to lose some stress [in the second half]. Ollie can press effectively and make these runs in behind. We thought it was a superb second to attempt him.
“We deserved to win. We were very fluid in our formation, it wasn’t just a back three, we had to adapt all the time and the players made so many good decisions.”
Keane: Southgate has to go and end it now
England now have the prospect to finish 58 years with out a main trophy on Sunday.
