Here are some great Black Friday PC gaming deals at the Epic Games Store.

Credit: Ember Lab

It’s that time of year again. First we feast, then we shop till we drop. Or, well, I generally skip the shopping part and stick with feasting.

But if I am going to shop, it’s not going to be in brick-and-mortar stores, waiting in lines or camping out in the cold.

You can find a lot of good online sales this week, especially for digital products like PC games. The Epic Games Store is running a Black Friday sale right now and there are plenty of games on sale. I’ve gone through all of them and picked out 35 which you can find in the below list with links and prices.

The following is a wide array of different games from different genres. I don’t even like all of these games but I know some are popular and my opinion only goes so far.

There’s one game on here for less than a dollar! Others are newer and have slimmer savings but are still cheaper than you’d normally find them.

I’ve played each of these though I haven’t beaten them all and I think it’s a pretty solid list of titles that should have something for everyone. If you have any recommendations for games on sale at the Epic Games Store this week, let me know on Twitter or Facebook.

35 Epic Games Store Black Friday Sale Deals

  1. Far Cry 6 — $49.79 (was $59.99) — Sure it’s more of the same, but more of the same can be lots of fun when you enjoy blowing things up, taking down enemy bases and doing so with a ludicrous and wacky arsenal.
  2. Conan Exiles — $11.99 (was $39.99) — If you’re into the survival genre and Conan the Barbarian, the two come together in this popular online game. This is a pretty solid discount.
  3. Kena: Bridge Of Spirits — $35.99 (was $39.99) — I know, it’s only $4 off, but this is such a fantastic, charming, beautiful game you really absolutely need to play. Hopefully it does well and Ember Lab can make a sequel—or just an entirely new game.
  4. Hitman 3 — $23.99 (was $59.99) — Stealth assassination puzzles in sprawling sandbox levels with tons of player choice, great gameplay and the best graphics of any Hitman game. And it’s more than half off!
  5. Back 4 Blood — $41.99 (was $59.99) — Zombie co-op action that harkens back to the days of Left 4 Dead. It’s a mixed bag in a lot of ways, so picking it up during a sale is the way to go. Definitely more fun with friends.
  6. Rogue Lords — $19.99 (was $24.99) — A “roguelite” RPG in the same style as Darkest Dungeon but you play as the Devil leading a party of villains on your adventures.
  7. Crysis Remastered Trilogy — $39.99 (was $49.99) — These are far from perfect first-person shooters but Crysis was such a great tech demo it will always have a special place in my gaming heart.
  8. Darkest Dungeon II — $26.99 (was $29.99) — The sequel to the phenomenal Darkest Dungeon is more of a road-trip than a dungeon crawler. It’s a cool change of pace and highly recommended.
  9. Red Dead Redemption 2 — $29.99 (was $59.99) — If you somehow still haven’t played this open-world cowboy game from the makers of Grand Theft Auto, now you can get it half off.
  10. Ghostrunner — $11.99 (was $29.99) — Man, this game is hard! You have to run and jump and wall-run and slice your way through crazy stages, past tons of enemies all without taking a single hit. Fun but very challenging.
  11. Avon Colony — $7.49 (was $29.99) — SimCity but on an alien planet with lots of cool space age tech.
  12. Second Extinction — $14.99 (was $24.99) — Sort of like Destiny but with dinosaurs. Fun!
  13. Total War: Warhammer — $14.99 (was $59.99) — Massive scale battles and loads of strategy set in the dark fantasy world of Warhammer.
  14. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla — $29.99 (was $59.99) — Yes, it’s more of the same in many ways but set in a gorgeous Viking world that’s rich and colorful with tons to explore.
  15. Borderlands 3 — $14.99 (was $59.99) — Cheesy humor, cell-shaded graphics and tons of guns to loot, all playable with friends or solo. Play this one
  16. Outriders — $19.79 (was $59.99) — Not gonna lie, this was just not my cup of tea, but a lot of people seem to enjoy the co-op third-person shooter and this is a pretty good deal!
  17. The Pillars Of The Earth — $2.69 (was $29.99) — I’m a big fan of the book that this game is based on and the game is also really terrific and faithful to the novel. Story-driven and beautifully crafted.
  18. Olija — $7.49 (was $14.99) — This is a cool little 2D-platformer with great pixel art graphics. Very moody.
  19. Alien: Isolation — $9.99 (was $39.99) — The best Alien game out there, Alien: Isolation is tense and scary, just like it should be.
  20. Spiritfarer — $14.99 (was $29.99) — A game about spiriting the dead on your boat, which you trick out with gardens, different rooms and various other upgrades. Give hugs, cook food, enjoy the gorgeous art-style.
  21. Hades — $17.49 (was $24.99) — One of last year’s best games, this action roguelite is slick and challenging and funny and pretty much great all around. A fun challenge with great storytelling.
  22. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order — $14.79 (was $39.99) — This is what happens when you take Dark Souls and Star Wars and make a baby. I really enjoyed this game a lot even if it’s not as good as the Souls series. From the makers of Apex Legends and Titanfall.
  23. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun — $3.59 (was $39.99) — Really good deal on this ninja/samurai turn-based tactical game. Challenging and really well designed. Very stealth forward. Highly recommended.
  24. The Witness — $9.99 (was $39.99) — Vivid, gorgeous vistas and super challenging puzzles. Play with friends because this can be a real brain teaser.
  25. Super Meat Boy — $0.74 (was $14.99) — This one’s so cheap it’s practically free. It’s also a super tough, wacky, bloody platformer that will test your patience and your skill.
  26. Kingdom Come: Deliverance — $10.19 (was $29.99) — A terrific Medieval roleplaying game set in real world Europe. No magic but plenty of knightly combat and a compelling story.
  27. What Remains Of Edith Finch — $5.99 (was $19.99) — A “walking simulator” filled with imagination and tragedy. I found this very short game quite profound and moving.
  28. Outer Wilds — $14.99 (was $24.99) — A mystery about a solar system trapped in a time loop. Such a clever game. Imaginative and well-written. Must play.
  29. Control — $8.99 (was $29.99) — I really enjoyed this one, though it’s not perfect. Trippy, mysterious, really cool guns and definitely a looker with ray-tracing turned on. There’s a reason Nvidia used this as a showcase for its RTX graphics cards.
  30. Journey — $7.49 (was $14.99) — One of my all-time favorite games with one of my all-time favorite soundtracks from composer Austin Wintory. I tell everyone, even non-gamers, to play this game. You should, too.
  31. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon — $4.49 (was $14.99) — The best Far Cry game if you value humor above all else. This one is hilarious and doesn’t take itself seriously at all. You throw a friggin’ 20-sided dice to distract enemies. Best tutorial in any game also.
  32. Death Stranding — $17.99 (was $59.99) — This one, again, not my cup of tea at all. Many hours played and I just couldn’t get into it. But lots of people love it, especially the people at Monster Energy and fans of Norman Reedus’s behind. It’s certainly unique if nothing else. No other game quite like it.
  33. Mortal Shell — $20.99 (was $29.99) — One of my favorite “Souls-like” games out there. Gorgeous graphics, terrific combat and great level design. Definitely pick this one up if you enjoy Dark Souls.
  34. Remnant From The Ashes — $15.99 (was $39.99) — Co-op third-person goodness, this one really took off for a while. It’s not as popular as it used to be but still very much worth taking for a spin.
  35. Mafia: Definitive Edition — $19.99 (was $39.99) — I didn’t play the original when it came out back in 2002 but the 2020 remake is great. It’s sort of weird playing it, though, because it’s very much in the style of GTA but it’s really a linear story with very few side-quests or busy work. I like that! Just beware of the infamous racecar level.

The Epic Games Store Black Friday sale ends on November 30th at 8 am. Have a great Thanksgiving!
