England worldwide Ellie Kildunne will go away Harlequins on the finish of the season.
Kildunne – who has scored 52 tries for Quins and was named World Participant of the Yr throughout her time on the Stoop – leaves after a five-year tenure that noticed her miss out on a Premiership title regardless of becoming a member of the then-defending champions in 2021.
“After five years at Quins, it’s hard to put into words how much this place has meant to me,” the Rugby World Cup winner wrote in a put up on Instagram.
“I’ve shared so many moments here – on the field, in the changing room, and with friendships that will stay with me long after I leave.
“I’ve at all times tried to be the most effective participant I will be, giving every thing I’ve each time I step onto the pitch.
“For me, that is at all times been about being in the correct surroundings – one the place I will be unapologetically myself and work with those that really worth every particular person and what they create to the staff.
“I am extremely grateful to the supporters and my team-mates who’ve impressed me to play the rugby I really like.
“Things may not always be in our control, and I’m gutted to be leaving, I wish everyone at Quins the best for what’s next.”
Harlequins chief govt Laurie Dalrymple added: “Ellie has helped inspire a generation of female players; some of whom are now coming through our pathway and we are confident the future of Harlequins Women is bright..
“We wish to want Ellie each success sooner or later and thank her for her contribution to the membership, and the ladies’s recreation.”
