One of many pilots concerned within the Delta Air Traces runway collision had no clue he hit one other aircraft … new audio reveals.
In audio from the cockpit, a pilot asks … “We just hit something on the taxiway, could you tell us what it was?”
The wrongdoer was one other Delta Air Traces passenger jet … and air visitors management responded, “The whole tail of that CRJ is off.”

The aircraft collision went down Tuesday at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Worldwide Airport … and video and photographs from the aftermath exhibits precisely what air visitors management describes right here … a aircraft with its tail chopped off, and dangling to at least one aspect.
Delta says the wing of an Airbus A350 hit the tail of a smaller, Endeavor Air CRJ-900 whereas each planes have been on the taxiway … and it sounds just like the pilots within the bigger jet have been caught completely off guard.
Fortuitously, Delta Air Traces says no accidents have been reported on this incident.
