“Deadliest Catch” deckhand Todd Meadows‘ official reason behind demise has been revealed … and it sounds horrific and painful.
Todd died from “drowning with probable hypothermia” and “submersion of body in cold water” … in accordance with his demise certificates.
The general public doc, obtained by TMZ, says Todd was pronounced lifeless at 5:15 PM on Feb. 25 in an “accident” aboard the Aluetian [sic] Girl crab vessel within the Bering Sea.
As we reported … Todd fell overboard whereas crabbing on a fishing boat off the coast of Alaska, and “Deadliest Catch” cameras had been rolling. Todd’s household advised us they do not need Discovery to air any footage of the incident.
The doc says Todd’s physique was cremated after being transported again to Anchorage.
Todd was solely 25 years outdated, and he is survived by his spouse and three youngsters. His household began a GoFundMe, which has raised $56K and counting.
