“It does take two to tango,” he added. “I’m doing as much as I can over here to try and be the best I can on the night.
“I am nonetheless ready for the profession finest efficiency to date and hopefully I can have it in Eire and at last be pleased with the combat and present individuals what I’m actually able to.”
Nevertheless Walsh is aware of that Denny, when on type, is a formidable opponent.
“I know he’s going to show up and he’s going to try to beat me. And I’m ready, I’m prepared for the challenge,” he stated of the Englishman. “He’s going to come to win and this is what it’s all about.”
Walsh insists he will not again away from the menace. He’s gunning for a knockout.
“I’ve seen a lot of comments saying there’s going to be an upset, he’s going to beat me. I’m looking forward to the challenge. I’m going to prepare to the best I can and I’m going to be the best I can on the night and hopefully put on a career-best performance and get him out of there,” Walsh stated,
“I think I need to mix up, definitely more aggressive, 100%, and not let him get in that groove. Just bring the fight to him,” he added.
“Be able to go all out, flat out for 10 rounds and if I can’t get him out of there [win] really a clear decision. But my plan is to definitely be aggressive and try to finish the fight.”
The environment in Eire can be inspirational, if not too galvanising.
“You want to take in the energy and enjoy it, but you don’t want to take it in too much and try to enjoy it too much and next thing you lose the fight. So I’m always very focused,” Walsh stated.
“It’s after you get your hand raised that’s when you can really look around and look into the crowd.
“That is one of the best half. Whenever you’re looking to the gang, it is a sold-out enviornment and everybody’s singing and everybody’s pleased, that is whenever you actually take pleasure in it then.”
He recalled his previous bout in Dublin. “It was unbelievable final time I fought within the 3Arena. I had a second-round knockout and the gang went loopy. I’d advise individuals coming to carry an umbrella,” he laughed.
“In the event that they’re sitting near the ring, carry an umbrella. There have been beers flying all over the place. I used to be getting hit with pints contained in the ring final time with the celebrations. It was raining contained in the 3Arena. I am actually trying ahead to the gang, the power, the thrill, it was unbelievable. So I am unable to wait to return there and do all of it once more.
“It’s going to be a great night. One of the best nights. It’s going to be a great card the whole way through.”
