Here is the deal … video is circulating on-line that reveals the rapper standing along with his arms behind his again, seemingly being questioned by police as supporters rally behind him early Saturday morning.
A spokesperson for the NYPD tells us police responded to stories of a male with a firearm at simply after 4 AM this morning … which led to officers stopping three males in a car matching the outline and license plate they acquired.
Cops did not discover the alleged firearm, we’re advised … and, all three males have been let go — no arrests, in contrast to many on-line are claiming.
Meek spoke out concerning the incident on X shortly after all of it went down … telling his 11 million followers police “pulled” him from his automobile and handcuffed him — claiming they even had weapons skilled on him. Nonetheless, the video on-line doesn’t present what he described.
The hitmaker referred to as the entire ordeal “embarrassing” and even admitted he thought it was a prank … although he later wrote on social media he now thinks, “They tryna get me ……..”
