Foster Sylvers, the standout little one star of the Seventies household R&B group The Sylvers, has died … TMZ has realized.
Foster’s brother, Leon Sylvers III, tells TMZ he died in hospice following a battle with stage 4 pancreatic most cancers. Extra updates will come from their sister, Pat Sylvers.
The Sylvers skyrocketed to fame within the ’70s with hits like “Fool’s Paradise, “Boogie Fever,” and “Scorching Line.” The group had many iterations throughout their decade within the highlight … the above picture reveals James, Foster, Edmund, Ricky, and Angie.
Foster was a powerful bassist who supported different artists as properly, together with Dynasty and Evelyn “Champaign” King. He put out solo work, too.
His brother, Edmund, died in 2004 from lung most cancers. They have been each predeceased by brother Christopher, who was the youngest sibling and died in 1985 at age 18.
Foster was 64.
