On Sunday, Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Jerusalem.

Netanyahu was passionate about Israel’s relationship with the U.S., and mentioned that he and President Trump are on the identical web page concerning the urgency of releasing the remaining Israeli hostages.

As we speak an Israeli delegation traveled to Cairo to hash out particulars for a second part of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

Beneath the primary part of the deal, Hamas agreed to launch a complete of 33 Israeli hostages – and Israel mentioned it could free round 1,900 Palestinian prisoners and detainees. A number of the Palestinian prisoners launched have been convicted of significant crimes.
