(Reuters) -Westpac has appointed Anthony Miller as chief government officer and managing director, the Australian financial institution stated on Monday.
Anthony Miller, who joined the corporate in 2019, was serving because the chief government of Westpac’s Business & Wealth division, and can succeed Peter King, who will retire after a 30-year profession at Westpac together with 5 years as CEO.
Peter King, who was the chief monetary officer of the corporate, was appointed because the performing chief government from December 2019 until March 2020, transitioning to a everlasting position in April 2020, across the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
