KYIV (Reuters) – Ukraine’s overseas ministry stated on Sunday that experiences Kyiv was knowledgeable upfront of a cellphone name between U.S. President- elect Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have been false.
The Washington Submit, citing individuals acquainted with the matter, reported that Trump and Putin spoke by cellphone on Thursday and mentioned the battle in Ukraine. It stated Kyiv was knowledgeable of the decision and didn’t object to the dialog happening.
“Reports that the Ukrainian side was informed in advance of the alleged call are false. Subsequently, Ukraine could not have endorsed or opposed the call,” overseas ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi advised Reuters.
