WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday named ally Devin Nunes, a former U.S. lawmaker who now runs Trump’s Reality Social social media platform, to function chairman of President’s Intelligence Advisory Board.
Nunes, a longtime Trump defender who led the U.S. Home of Representatives Intelligence Committee throughout a part of Trump’s first White Home time period, will stay Reality Social CEO whereas serving on the advisory panel, Trump mentioned in a submit on the platform.

The President’s Intelligence Advisory Board is a White Home panel that gives the president unbiased assessments of intelligence businesses’ effectiveness and planning.
Trump on Saturday additionally named IBM (NYSE:) govt and former U.S. Division of Homeland Safety official Troy Edgar to function the division’s deputy secretary, and businessman Invoice White to function the U.S. ambassador to Belgium.
