Elizabeth Zymovets is a name that has been making waves in the international dance community for several years now. Born in Ukraine in 1993, Elizabeth began dancing at the tender age of five, and it was evident from the start that she had a natural talent for the art form.
In 2004, Elizabeth’s skills were recognized when she was awarded the vice championship of Ukraine in Latin dance. She went on to achieve over 50 first-place finishes throughout her career in Ukraine and was awarded the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine (MS) and Adjudicator of 2nd category.
In 2016, Elizabeth moved to Germany and began representing the country in dance competitions. She was one of twelve couples in the national team of Germany and achieved a 4th place finish in the North German Championship. Elizabeth was also ranked 10th in the world in WDFS during her time in Germany.
Elizabeth’s talent and hard work have been recognized internationally, with numerous impressive finishes in major competitions around the world. She achieved 2nd place in the Open Latin Adult competition in Los Angeles, USA, and 5th place in the International Open Latin Adult competition in Toronto, Canada. Elizabeth also achieved 4th place in the International Open Latin Adult competition in Kaunas, Lithuania, and 7th place in the International Open Latin Adult competition in Marín, Spain.
In 2022, Elizabeth moved to the USA and immediately made her presence felt in the professional division, achieving finalist status in several major competitions, including the Virginia State Dancesport Championships, the International Grand Ball Dancesport Championships in California, and the Florida State Dancesport Championships.
Elizabeth’s passion for dance is matched by her desire to teach and inspire others. She has participated in numerous dance camps as both a student and a teacher, teaching in Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Currently, Elizabeth is teaching in New York and Connecticut and continues to participate in a variety of dance competitions.
