Ever since free commerce opened up between the US and Mexico within the Nineties, trillions of {dollars} of products have been going forwards and backwards between the 2 nations, from vehicles to strawberries to MRI machines to underwear. However one main exception has been recent American potatoes.
At the moment on the present, we inform the commerce saga of the American potato. For greater than 25 years, there was a spot that American potatoes couldn’t go to freely. A spot that all the American potato trade was determined to entry. An enormous, untapped market: Mexico.
However standing of their manner – the Mexican potato foyer and a commerce loophole.
