LaMonte McLemore, a founding member of the pioneering soul group The fifth Dimension, has died, TMZ has confirmed. He was 90 years previous.
His spouse Mieko tells TMZ … the icon died peacefully yesterday in his Las Vegas house, surrounded by household and pals. His explanation for demise was not launched.
McLemore was born in St. Louis, Missouri … he served within the U.S. Navy as an aerial photographer. He later pursued a profession in skilled baseball earlier than he began focusing full-time on pictures.
McLemore met Marilyn McCoo and Florence LaRue throughout a photograph shoot held as a part of a magnificence pageant within the mid-Sixties, and the three went on to type The fifth Dimension alongside Billy Davis Jr. and Ron Townson in 1965.
