Warrington Wolves have confirmed former England head coach Steve McNamara will be a part of Sam Burgess’ teaching staff for the 2026 season.
The 54-year-old, who left Catalans Dragons in Could after virtually eight years with the French membership, shall be a part of Warrington’s set-up following this yr’s eighth-placed end in Tremendous League.
McNamara was England’s full-time head coach between 2010 and 2015 after a four-year spell with Bradford Bulls, earlier than taking over teaching roles within the NRL with Sydney Roosters and New Zealand Warriors.
McNamara’s teaching CV contains success within the Grand Remaining in his first season in control of the Bulls, together with main the Dragons to their first Problem Cup with victory over Warrington in 2018.
