NEW DELHI (Reuters) – Bangladesh former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will return to her nation when its new caretaker authorities decides to carry elections, her son has mentioned.
Hasina fled to neighbouring India on Monday after weeks of lethal protests compelled her to stop. A caretaker authorities led by Nobel Peace laureate Muhammad Yunus was sworn in on Thursday, which shall be tasked with holding elections.
Chatting with the Occasions of India each day, her son Sajeeb Wazed Pleasure, who relies in United States, mentioned, “For the time being, she (Hasina) is in India. She will go back to Bangladesh the moment the interim government decides to hold an election.”
