Richard Simmons is up in heaven along with his trademark tank prime and shorts, working up a sweat … a minimum of that is what his brother mentioned at Richard’s celebration of life.
The late health guru was remembered Saturday in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana … and his brother, Leonard, in contrast him to Clark Kent throughout a touching eulogy at St. Louis Cathedral.
Leonard says Richard was like Superman in that he at all times had his tank prime and shorts on below his outfit — like Clark maintaining his superhero getup below his civilian garments.
Richard’s brother says he is up in heaven watching down on his followers and household, and “will forever be sweating with the holies.”
Whereas Richard’s bro mentioned solely about 8 folks have been current at RS’ personal funeral, the celebration of life in NOLA is a public affair … and it appears like there is a large turnout.
The road drew a giant giggle from the gang … and for good purpose.
As you may see, a bunch of followers confirmed as much as the memorial service dressed like Richard … in tank tops, shorts, and a few even donned a curly wig.
The church was packed and followers have been marching by means of the streets after the service was over, giving Richard a grand sendoff New Orleans-style … virtually like a Mardi Gras parade.
TMZ broke the story … Richard died in July, when he fell in his toilet after which refused medical help the evening earlier than. Cop later mentioned his dying was unintentional as a consequence of issues from the autumn, and listed coronary heart illness as a contributing issue.
Richard, who was 76, was buried in Los Angeles on the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park and Mortuary … and now he is getting some severe love again house.
