Rescue groups ended a search on Friday for a 51-year-old man who fell overboard from the Norwegian Epic cruise ship en path to the Bahamas, lower than 24 hours after he was reported lacking.
A spokesperson for Norwegian Cruise Line informed NPR that the person was reported lacking at round 3 p.m. native time on Thursday because the ship was crusing from Ocho Rios, Jamaica, to Nassau, Bahamas.
