President Trump appears to be calling the pictures at CBS Information today — no less than in relation to final week’s interview with anchor Tony Dokoupil.
Dokoupil — the brand new face of the “CBS Evening News” — landed a 13-minute interview with Trump, which was broadcast Tuesday from a Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan.
The New York Instances experiences that after they wrapped their dialogue, Trump’s chief spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, walked as much as Dokoupil and his crew and issued a stern warning from the president.
Based on a recording obtained by the NYT … Leavitt informed Dokoupil that Trump wished to “make sure you guys don’t cut the tape, make sure the interview is out in full.” The NYT says Dokoupil responded CBS was “doing it” Trump’s method.

Then Leavitt dropped a bomb, warning that Trump mentioned, ‘If it’s not out in full, we’ll sue your ass off.’
You could recall … Trump filed a 2024 lawsuit towards CBS over the best way a “60 Minutes” piece was edited — and the community’s guardian firm determined to settle it for $16 million.
On Saturday, CBS launched a press release, saying, “The second we booked this interview, we made the unbiased resolution to air it unedited and in its entirety.”
Leavitt additionally commented, saying the “American individuals deserve to look at President Trump’s full interviews, unedited, no cuts. And guess what? The interview ran in full.”
