President Donald Trump is weighing in on Wednesday evening’s deadly midair aircraft crash, blaming the helicopter pilot for the tragedy through which officers worry there isn’t any survivors.
DT hopped on his Fact Social platform after the American Airways flight collided with the Black Hawk helicopter, placing the onus for all of it on the operator of the chopper.
47 wrote, “The airplane was on a perfect and routine line of approach to the airport. The helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time. It is a CLEAR NIGHT, the lights on the plane were blazing, why didn’t the helicopter go up or down, or turn.”
Trump added, “Why didn’t the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane. This is a bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented. NOT GOOD!!!.”
Officers say the AA industrial airliner was approaching Ronald Reagan Washington Nationwide Airport in D.C. with 64 individuals aboard when it smashed into the army helicopter carrying 3 troopers.
Video circulating on-line exhibits the plane going up in a ball of flames because the wreckage rained down on the Potomac River.
A D.C. Fireplace spokesperson says the division does not imagine anybody survived and has to date recovered 27 our bodies from the aircraft and 1 from the helicopter … because the investigation continues over how this occurred.
