PlayStation Plus Free Games For October Revealed

The leaks were right. Again.

I posted the leaked October PS Plus games this past weekend and sure enough, all three were bang on the money. So was the theory earlier in the month that the free PS Plus game would be Hell Let Loose, a 50v50 World War 2 first-person shooter launching next week on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The other two games are PS4 titles that are backward compatible on the PS5:

  • Mortal Kombat X (base version)
  • PGA Tour 2K21

Hell Let Loose

This game has already been out on PC where it gets a Very Positive rating from Steam gamers. It looks really great and I can’t wait to play it. While Call Of Duty: Vanguard feels like a modern-day shooter with a WW2 skin, this looks like the real deal.

Mortal Kombat X

This game needs no introduction. It’s been around for six years. It’s brutally violent and loads of fun. GET OVER HERE!

PGA Tour 2K21

Maybe, just maybe, I will play this golf game out. I am not a big golfer (except for disc golf!) or a golf video game gamer, but it’s free so why not?

All three games will be available sometime next Tuesday, October 5th, for free with an active PS+ subscription. You can still download September’s games for the next few days.
