Insurgent forces in Syria have ousted President Bashar al-Assad from energy, ending greater than half a century of brutal rule by the Assad household.

Assad’s downfall got here lower than two weeks after an preliminary incursion west of the nation’s second largest metropolis, Aleppo, triggered a cascading sequence of routs and retreats by the demoralized Syrian army.
