Former Indianapolis quarterback Philip Rivers has interviewed for the Buffalo Payments head coach job.
Rivers made a midseason return to the NFL final month after 5 years away to aim to get the Colts again into the playoff race, making three begins.
It was reported earlier this month that groups had been doing analysis on the 44-year-old following his dramatic return to the NFL and on Friday he interviewed with the Payments, with quarterback Josh Allen sitting in on the interviews.
Whereas earlier than that Rivers had not significantly thought-about teaching within the NFL, since his foray again into the league he has made clear his curiosity to teach sooner or later.
“I do think, as humbly as I can say it, that I could coach at this level,” Rivers mentioned.
