Former world champions Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld have led the tributes to Wayne Mardle’s household, following the loss of life of his spouse Donna forward of the World Darts Championship.
Donna Mardle died aged 52 earlier this week, following a brief sickness, with Sky Sports activities Darts saying her passing throughout protection of the opening day of this 12 months’s contest on the Alexandra Palace.
“Wayne is the heart and soul of everything we do here at Sky Sports Darts, but the heart of his world, his wonderful wife Donna, sadly passed away earlier this week after a short illness,” presenter Emma Paton mentioned throughout protection.
