PARIS (Reuters) -American gymnast Jordan Chiles is ready to lose her bronze medal within the girls’s inventive gymnastics ground train competitors after the Courtroom of Arbitration for Sport dominated in favour of an enchantment by Romania’s Ana Barbosu, who will transfer as much as third place, it stated on Saturday.

CAS additionally ordered the worldwide gymnastics federation FIG to find out the rating of the ultimate and “assign the medal(s) in accordance with the above decision.”

The choice doesn’t have an effect on both Andrade or Biles, who scored 14.166 and 14.133 respectively.

In a joint assertion U.S. Gymnastics and the U.S Olympic and Paralympic Committee stated they have been devastated by the choice.
