Lions coach: Means quite a bit to see groups come collectively
“It’s an eye-opener. It hits a little different. It puts things in perspective.
“When one thing like this occurs, the silver lining is … the brotherhood. To see all these guys from that workforce, our workforce sort of come collectively and all people’s fascinated by one other participant simply means quite a bit.”
Lions quarterback Kyle Allen said of Norris’ injury: “Normally, you see a pair trainers on the market. It is by no means good after they deliver out the stretchers.
“We just started praying for him and hoping for the best. When it’s taking that long, with that many people and that many trainers around him, you’re just hoping for the best.
“I do not suppose anybody on that sideline needed to play. We weren’t a part of that call, however you would simply look in everybody’s eyes and see it wasn’t price it.”
Falcons wide receiver Casey Washington added: “That is any individual’s life, and that is larger than soccer.”
