NCT 127 Chart Their Seventh No. 1 Album In Korea With ‘Sticker’

Several new releases from some of the biggest stars in the South Korean music industry competed for the top spot on the weekly Gaon Albums chart, but in the end, only one could claim the throne. On the just-published ranking of the bestselling EPs, single albums and full-lengths in the Asian nation, boy group NCT 127 claims another leader with their brand new project.

NCT 127’s Sticker debuts at No. 1 on this week’s Gaon Albums chart. The band scores their seventh champion on the competitive tally with the release. The boy group has now controlled the rakning with all of the following projects: Regular-Irregular, Neo Zone, Neo Zone: The Final Round, NCT #127, Limitless, We Are Superhuman and now Sticker.

On top of their seven No. 1s, NCT 127 has also appeared inside the top 10 with two other releases, bringing their total placements inside the highest tier to nine.

Two songs from Sticker appear on the Gaon Digital chart, the all-encompassing list of the most-consumed songs in the country. The list, which uses a methodology that includes sales and streams, now features lead single “Sticker,” which earns the loftiest debut this frame as it enters the roster at No. 17. Fellow album track “Lemonade” blasts onto the tally at No. 144.

Title track and single “Sticker” also launches as the bestselling song in South Korea, opening at No. 1 on the Gaon Download chart. All 11 songs featured on Sticker appear inside the upper half of the sales-only ranking.

Sticker leads a top 10 that features new releases from the likes of Ateez, Wonho and Mamamoo, to name just a few.
