Prime Minister Mark Carney stated on Thursday that Canada’s outdated relationship with america was “over” and vowed that there could be a “broad renegotiation” of the commerce settlement between the nations.

Talking in Ottawa after assembly the nation’s provincial premiers, Carney stated the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump would drive Canada to rethink and reshape its economic system and search “reliable” buying and selling companions.

“The time will come for a broad renegotiation of our security and trade relationship,” he added.
