Crimson Bull are set to interchange Liam Lawson with Yuki Tsunoda after simply two races of the Formulation 1 season from subsequent week’s Japanese Grand Prix.
Lawson will return to Racing Bulls – the corporate’s junior group – from the Suzuka race in a straight swap with Tsunoda after a troublesome begin at Crimson Bull as Max Verstappen’s team-mate.
Crimson Bull haven’t commented and no official announcement is predicted on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Lawson has endured a dismal begin to 2025 to this point, being knocked out on the first stage of all three qualifying classes (together with one within the Dash format) and has struggled for race tempo in comparison with Verstappen, scoring no factors in Australia and China.
