Kurt Cobain smashed this white Fender Stratocaster again in 1992 … and, now it is smashing information — bringing in a whopping sum at public sale!
Dylan Kosinski — president of well-liked music public sale website Gottahaverockandroll — tells TMZ … Kurt’s smashed guitar bought for $101,500 to a Texas collector when the public sale closed yesterday.
The piece of music memorabilia sparked a bidding struggle on the location … with 5 folks making a complete of 11 bids earlier than a winner was finally topped.
The minimal bid was $30K … so, the guitar introduced in an entire heck of much more cash than initially thought.
As we advised you … this guitar was smashed throughout Nirvana’s tour of Europe manner again in ’92 — although it was restored to working order whereas the group was nonetheless on tour there.
