Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer stated {that a} “trade war is in nobody’s interests” as he vowed to take a “cool-headed” strategy to President Donald Trump’s imposition of tariffs on Wednesday night.

Starmer additionally insisted that “constructive talks are progressing between the UK and the US about a potential economic deal” that he hopes will soften commerce tariffs imposed on Britain.
