I took this video 6 days in the past leaving Reagan Worldwide Airport and thought it was form of loopy seeing these choppers proper subsequent to us. I ponder if it was one thing like this that induced the collision tonight. pic.twitter.com/0I2GGTM7hS

A person on X posted a clip late Wednesday evening … sharing a video he says he took six days in the past — exhibiting two helicopters flying to the left of an airplane because it takes off from a runway at Ronald Reagan Washington Nationwide Airport.

Try the vid … there’s not an enormous hole of house between the choppers and the aircraft — although they do appear to be a secure distance away.

Price noting … the video’s taken through the day — however, the deadly D.C. crash occurred at evening, so that is a lot clearer visibility than pilots of the crafts would’ve had.

The social media poster overtly questions whether or not this quick distance might have really led to the crash … however, many within the feedback are capturing him down — saying this can be a very regular distance for these crafts to fly from each other.

As we instructed you … an American Airways jet collided with a Blackhawk helicopter close to Ronald Reagan Washington Nationwide Airport — and, video captured the explosion above the Potomac River.
