Fortnite Winterfest
Fortnite’s Christmas event ‘Winterfest’ returns to the game this month and with it a whole bunch of free rewards players can earn and challenges to complete.
The Winterfest cabin first showed up in 2019’s holiday event. You would access the cabin via the main menu and inside you’d find presents to choose from and a stocking with a new daily challenge inside.
This was a really fun holiday event with some great rewards and it looks like we’re getting a repeat of the Winterfest event this year, though I’m not sure if it will be exactly like the first one or not. Most likely it will have some variations, but remain pretty similar.
We didn’t get a Winterfest event in 2020, much to everyone’s dismay. It’s good to see that Epic has listened to fans and brought it back for 2021.
The free Winterfest rewards have already been leaked online, though it doesn’t appear the corresponding challenges have leaked yet.
Including the BlizzaBelle skin, there’s also 14 more holiday gifts players can look forward to, including wraps, loading screens, music, gliders and more.

This all sounds about right. It looks like PC players will get a blue version of the BlizzaBelle skin while everyone else gets the red style. The ‘Banana Winter’ Skin is a frozen version of Peely.

According to leakers, the Winterfest event should begin on Thursday, December 16th. We don’t have an official time yet, but it stands to reason it will go live when updates normally do, at 10am ET / 7am PT.
