KATHMANDU, Nepal — The variety of individuals killed by flooding and landslides triggered by heavy rainfall over the weekend in Nepal has reached 193 whereas restoration and rescue work has been stepped up, officers mentioned Monday.

A police assertion mentioned there have been 31 individuals who had been nonetheless reported lacking and 96 individuals had been injured throughout the Himalayan nation.

Most of the deaths had been within the capital, Kathmandu, which received heavy rainfall, and far of southern a part of the town was flooded.
