Response to President Joe Biden’s choice to step apart as Democratic presidential nominee has poured in from throughout Europe, together with from key allies in the UK and Germany.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz wrote on X that Biden’s choice to drop his reelection bid deserved recognition, whereas his international coverage management merited reward.
