Erika Jayne is firing again at claims she conspired with the Secret Service to convey down a dressmaker … TMZ has discovered.
The ‘Actual Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star, whose actual title is Erika Girardi, filed courtroom docs, obtained by TMZ, responding to the $18 Million lawsuit dressmaker Chris Psaila filed in opposition to her in late 2023. Erika denies any wrongdoing and says she was by no means a part of a scheme to focus on Chris.
Chris, who runs the style model Marco Marco, alleges Erika falsely advised legislation enforcement he misused her bank card and rang up roughly $800,000 in fraudulent prices in 2015 and 2016.
However Erika says she by no means knowingly lied to the Secret Service. As an alternative, she says she solely spoke with investigators about issues over sure prices after having hassle getting receipts from Chris for purchases made on her card.
She’s asking the courtroom to throw out the lawsuit in its entirety.
Chris claims the ordeal prompted emotional misery and broken each his enterprise and popularity, and he is in search of round $18 million in damages.
When the lawsuit was first filed, Erika’s lawyer, Evan Borges, advised TMZ … “Plaintiff’s claims against Erika are entirely without merit. Independent federal prosecutors at the U.S. Attorney’s Office made the decision to charge plaintiff with crimes, no one else. The notion that Erika controlled the U.S. Government, or for that matter a Fortune 100 company such as American Express, is fantasy.”
