BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 6, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Empresa Distribuidora y Comercializadora Norte S.A. (“edenor” or the “Company”; BYMA/NYSE: EDN), the most important electrical energy distribution firm in Argentina, declares to the investor group that the Board of Administrators of the Firm at its assembly held immediately accepted the resignation of Mr. Neil Bleasdale (for private issues) as Chairman of the Board of Administrators and CEO of the Firm, conserving his place as common Director.   Subsequently, the Board additional accepted its reorganization and resolved to nominate Mr. Daniel Marx as Chairman, member of the Government Committee and CEO of EDENOR.

For the needs of an orderly transition, the referred adjustments might be efficient as of August 31, 2024.
