Donald Trump is not ruling out a 3rd run for president … and he is making it clear he has zero curiosity in being anybody’s VP.
The prez spoke to reporters Monday aboard Air Power One en path to Japan … when he was requested about Steve Bannon’s current feedback, claiming there are plans for Trump to run and doubtlessly win a 3rd time period in 2028.
Trump on working for a 3rd time period: “I would love to do it.”
Q: “You’re not ruling out a third term?”

Trump says “I would love to do it” when pressed in regards to the potential presidential bid … including, “I have my best numbers ever.”
A reporter follows up asking if he is “not ruling it out” … and DT replies, “Am I not ruling it out? You’ll have to tell me.”
Trump then takes purpose on the Democrats, saying, “”All I can let you know is that we’ve an incredible, an incredible group of individuals, which they do not,” before ripping into Rep. Jasmine Crockett and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez … referring to both as “low IQ.”
Q: “One theory on how you might try to serve a third term is that you could run as the VP.”

Trump is then requested a couple of concept floating round that might maintain him within the White Home — by working as vice chairman — however he rapidly shuts that down, calling it “too cute” and saying “it wouldn’t be right.”
Time will inform if he really makes a run or simply retains teasing the thought … keep tuned.
