Dimash Kudaibergen, Ateez, BTS, IVE And Mew Suppasit: The Most-Talked-About Songs On Twitter

In the nine weeks Billboard has been publishing the Hot Trending Songs chart, a look at the most-talked-about tunes on Twitter, BTS has run the show seven times. The band’s “Permission to Dance” started things off right, and their smash “Butter” has managed half a dozen turns atop the tally. For two nonconsecutive frames, including this current one, SB19 has managed to demonstrate that they have a global fan base that can’t stop talking about their favorite act’s hit.

SB19’s “Bazinga” lifts from No. 2 to No. 1, swapping spots with BTS’s “Butter” for the second time. The Filipino boy band has now controlled the Twitter-focused ranking twice, with the same cut climbing to the peak in separate stints.

Up to a new peak of No. 3 is “Gifted” by J-pop boy band Be:First. That cut surges from No. 8 to No. 3, passing a steady “Eleven” by IVE at No. 4 and Dimash Kudaibergen’s “Fly Away,” which also improves to No. 5 after previously topping out in third place.

The only new title inside the top 10 on this week’s Hot Trending Songs chart comes from South Korean boy band Ateez. The group’s “The Real” single arrives at No. 6, marking their first trip to the upper half of the 20-rung tally. Last time around, they snagged their debut placement with “Turbulence,” which now pushes from No. 17 to No. 11.

The final four spaces inside the top 10 on the latest edition of the Hot Trending Songs chart are filled by Lisa’s “Lalisa” (No. 7), Kai’s “Peaches” (No. 8), Mew Suppasit’s “Spaceman” (No. 9) and a second smash by Dimash Kudaibergen. The Kazakh performer’s “Be With Me” finds its way back to the highest tier on the tally, improving from No. 13 to No. 10 for another turn inside the arena.

These were the most-talked-about songs on Twitter last week, according to Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart.
