The 41-year-old, who had been suffering from accidents in current months, introduced he was calling time on a 25-year profession after steering Impaire Et Passe to success within the Faugheen Novice Chase at Limerick.

“When you work hard and put your mind to it, I’m pretty convinced you can achieve anything you want.”
