It was an evening of mourning on Tuesday, when Doug Emhoff, second gents and the primary Jewish partner to a US president or Vp, spoke on the Adas Israel Congregation in Washington DC.
Emhoff was one among greater than a thousand individuals attending a prayer vigil devoted to 6 hostages not too long ago killed by Hamas. Their our bodies have been recovered over the weekend.
The deaths of the six hostages comes as it has been greater than 300 days since Hamas took greater than 240 individuals hostage after it attacked Israel on October seventh. As the times in captivity drag on, many have been killed, and their households dwell in agony.
A type of members of the family is LeElle Slifer, who’s cousin Carmel Gat was one of many six hostages killed. She shares what her cousin meant to her and what her household desires from the Israeli authorities.
