Elijah Blue Allman overdosed in Southern California this weekend … TMZ has discovered.
Sources accustomed to the state of affairs inform TMZ … the son of Cher and the late Gregg Allman was rushed to the hospital in Joshua Tree, CA after overdosing earlier Saturday morning. We do not know what medication he was utilizing.
We’re instructed he is nonetheless within the hospital and receiving one of the best care potential … and, he is very fortunate to have survived.
Our sources say, similar to any mom, Cher’s solely concern proper now’s for her son’s well-being, and he or she’s doing all the pieces she will to get him the assistance he wants.
Elijah’s detailed his wrestle with substance abuse points prior to now … revealing in a 2014 interview that he began taking medication when he was simply 11 years outdated.
Throughout the interview Elijah stated he had a number of shut calls with overdosing … saying, “I did have some close calls and some moments of really feeling at the edge of mortality … I always kind of kept it a little bit safe but you never can do that.”

Keep in mind … in 2023, Cher filed for a conservatorship to regulate entry to his cash, claiming he was “substantially unable to manage his own financial resources due to severe mental health and substance abuse issues.” The 2 finally settled the conservatorship drama a couple of months later.
