Chelsea Handler paid tribute to Rob and Michele Reiner throughout her Critics Alternative Awards opening monologue … calling Rob the “nicest guy in Hollywood.”
Handler begins off the tribute Sunday night time by saying “Anybody who ever hung out with Rob Reiner is aware of that the minute you met him, he felt like an previous pal whenever you had been in a dialog with him.”

The comic notes how current he was and that he was targeted, humorous, and says “he would ask you tons of questions, whether you were discussing politics or film or the latest beauty trends.”
Handler shared a fond reminiscence she had with Rob, saying he was “all in” after she had despatched him a textual content thanking him for dinner they’d a couple of months in the past. CH says “He texted me back and said, ‘We had so much fun with you last night. Thanks for explaining so much about plastic surgery. It was very edifying'” because the viewers reacts with a somber chuckle.
She continues to name Rob and his spouse Michele “tireless in their efforts to so many important causes” saying all of it stemmed from one fundamental concept … “decency and that we should all look out for each other.”
CH ends the heart-touching shoutout with “I believe we are able to all agree that we undoubtedly want extra of that. So let’s use tonight as a reminder of that decency and as a reminder of the whole lot Rob and Michele represented and fought so arduous for.”
As you already know, Rob and Michele had been murdered inside their properties on December 14th by their son Nick who has been charged along with his mother and father’ murders and is predicted to have a courtroom listening to this week.
