ANHOLT, Denmark — The carcass of a humpback whale, whose life and dying captivated Germans for months because the mammal turned repeatedly stranded within the Baltic Sea, was dragged Saturday onto a Danish seaside after two weeks of the physique languishing in shallow waters.
The whale had gained the nicknames “Timmy” and “Hope” as German media shops despatched push alerts and up to date reside blogs with the standing of its well being because it was first noticed off the German coast on March 3.
