As their new single “My Universe” with Coldplay enjoys a safe start on the South Korean songs charts, BTS’s entire back catalog of albums experiences a massive surge in popularity. The septet claims an amazing 16 spaces on the 100-spot ranking of the bestselling EPs and full-lengths in the country, with almost all of them gaining ground from where they appeared last time around.
Even after selling millions of copies of some of their releases, fans in the band’s home country are clearly still willing to show up and purchase the biggest and most popular sets from the boy group, as is evidenced by their performance on the list this time around.
BTS currently fill a pair of spaces inside the top 10 on the Gaon Albums chart, as Map of the Soul: Persona ascends to No. 7 while Love Yourself: Her improves to No. 9. Both beloved releases improve by at least 10 spaces, allowing them to return to the highest tier on the tally once again.
The band occupies another five spaces inside the top 20, with three pushing forward from where they sat last period. Map of the Soul: 7 lifts to No. 13 (up 11 spots), Love Yourself: Tear climbs to No. 15 (up three) while You Never Walk Alone drives to No. 20 (up a lucky 13 spaces). Inside the top 20, only Butter (No. 16) and Love Yourself: Answer fail to improve their standing, falling 12 and eight slots, respectively.
