BRASILIA (Reuters) -Brazil and Nicaragua expelled one another’s ambassadors on Thursday in a tit-for-tat retaliation as relations deteriorated between two previously allied leftist governments.

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva determined to expel Nicaragua’s ambassador in Brasilia after Daniel Ortega’s authorities ordered Brazil’s envoy in Managua to go away the nation, Lula’s chief of employees mentioned.
